A good repair starts with finding out why the system failed, not just which part quit. We test the system under load (airflow, electrical, refrigerant, and controls), tell you what failed and why, and lay out clear options before any work starts.
Some repairs make sense and some don’t. If putting more money into older equipment is a bad bet, we say so plainly, and the decision is yours. Read more about our AC and heating repair and replacement for homes.
When repairs stop making sense, a replacement should be planned, not rushed. Here’s how we walk you through it.
01
We look at the condition, the repair history, and whether the equipment still fits the house.
02
The new system is sized to your home’s actual load, not picked off a chart.
03
Straightforward choices, with the scope of each laid out plainly.
04
Clean line work, correct charge, verified airflow, and a tidy site when we leave.
Our Velocity Care maintenance plan is built to keep your system honest. You get two scheduled visits a year: a spring cooling visit before the heat sets in, and a fall heating visit before the cold fronts start.
It’s fall, so the heating visit is the one coming up. If your heater has sat unused since last winter, our fall checklist for switching from AC to heat covers what to look for.
In Spring, most of our work is in homes. We’re also Class A licensed with no tonnage limits, so we service and replace commercial rooftop units across Greater Houston. More on commercial HVAC in Houston.

It depends on the system’s age, condition, repair history, and whether it still fits the house. We look at all four and give you a straight repair-or-replace answer. The choice is always yours.
Twice a year is a good rhythm: once before cooling season and once before heating season. Velocity Care covers exactly that, with a spring cooling visit and a fall heating visit, a photo checklist, member repair discounts, and priority scheduling during normal hours.
