Velocity Air A/C & Heating was built on generations of craftsmanship, grit, and good old-fashioned integrity. Our story begins in the late ’80s, when founder Larry Hough got his start working alongside his stepfather, Mike Goodson, at Master Mechanical. After years honing his expertise and helping restore HVAC systems across Florida in the wake of Hurricane Andrew, Larry returned home to Texas to continue serving local homeowners. When Mike retired, Larry carried forward the family business, managing operations and continuing its long-standing tradition of precision, reliability, and care.

By 2019, that legacy evolved into Velocity Air A/C & Heating — a name that reflects both speed and purpose. Larry and his son, Stefin, bring three generations of HVAC experience to the Greater Houston area, combining hands-on craftsmanship with innovative design and whole-home comfort solutions. Stefin grew up in the trade, pairing his passion for engineering with his father’s technical expertise to tackle complex projects without losing sight of what matters most: quality work and honest service.
